About Our Leadership
Won S. Kwak – Lead Pastor | Elder
Won used to be a volleyball-fanatic during his college years at CMU & Rutgers. Then he got married to the gal of his dreams and made her a volleyball-widow because he was still too gung-ho about volleyball. Eventually he realized his neglect, sought his wife’s forgiveness (she’s forgiven him for this and much more), and became the dad of five "Kwaklings": Madelyn Joy, Naomi Ruth, Bethany Hope, Owen Lucas & Jordan Aeneas.
Won has served both bi-vocationally and non-vocationally as a pastor in Flushing [Queens, NY], Somerset [NJ], Rutherford [NJ], and Park Slope [Brooklyn, NY]. In 2005, he was commissioned as a Nehemiah Church Planter with the North American Mission Board. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and Union University [TN], and he’s also received extensive church planting training with Redeemer City to City. He moved his family to the Greater Fort Lee, NJ area for the purpose of leading and loving this church planting mission.
Edward Lin – Pastor | Elder
Ed was born in Taiwan and raised in northern New Jersey. He and his wife, Liz, live in Paramus with their three children (Ethan, Emily, Emmett & Elliot). They both love cooking shows, Michigan football, good fellowship, and babysitters. Ed received his undergraduate degree in computer science and is a web geek by profession. He and his wife are grateful for the body of Christ at MGFL and are excited to be part of what the Lord is doing in this community.
ERIC Park – Pastor | ELDER
Eric grew up in Queens, NY and moved to the Fort Lee area in September 2009 as he joined the church planting team of MGFL. There he met his wife, Kristina, and now they live in Englewood, NJ. They love singing praise songs, traveling (especially to California), and bonding with people over meals. Eric works as a project engineer and received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mechanical engineering. Occasionally he suffers from bouts of nerdiness. By God’s grace, Eric seeks to be a godly Christian, a Christlike husband, and a spirit-filled leader.
Jon Anzardo – Associate Pastor | elder
Jon grew up in Egg Harbor Township, NJ before studying political science at York College (PA) and Miami University (OH). It was in college when Jesus saved him and redirected his life toward ministry. He now enjoys great discussions on theology and life over coffee, reading, music, and meeting new people. Jon met Kirsten, and they got hitched, for which Jon is a qualitatively better person. Together they share the joy of being the parents of Trevor Hudson, Jude Elliot, and Kaiah Sofie. The Anzardos enjoy spending time together as a family, typically chasing each other around parks and going on “adventures.” After several years as middle & high school teachers, they served as missionaries in Jamaica.
After a few years, they left Jamaica to live in Louisville, KY where Jon completed an MDiv. degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jon & Kirsten love the local church and want to spend the rest of their lives serving her. They have a passion to see people’s lives transformed by the radical, beautiful grace of God. They are thrilled to be back in NJ and are even more excited to be a part of the Maranatha family, living life together on mission to the glory of God.

Daniel Lee – Minister of Operations
Daniel grew up in New York, but he loves his new home and community in Jersey and is excited about what God is doing here. He received his undergraduate education at Stony Brook University, after which he dabbled for a few years in the legal field. While serving at Maranatha, he received theological training at Westminster Theological Seminary. Daniel loves film, music, CrossFit, books, and understanding how the Gospel transforms all of life. He is also a recovering MBTI-addict.
Eric Yang – YOUTH Director
Eric was born in Queens, NY, but spent most of his youth years in NJ. After graduating from St. John’s University (Queens, NY) with a Childhood Education degree, he moved to Massachusetts for an M. Div. degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. During his time in MA, he served in youth ministry for five years. He moved back to NJ in April 2016, and by God’s grace, he has been given the privilege to serve and love the youth and their families as the youth director at Maranatha Grace. Eric loves to spend his time hanging out with people, watching documentaries, and playing all sports except golf. He’s planning on getting married this June to his fiancee, Sunna!
Grace Chung – CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CO-DIRECTOR
Grace often vacations in the minds of classic writers (think Steinbeck and Dostoevsky). In real life, she thrives on day trips with scenic views and hopes heaven will be a glorified PNW. She received her M.A.R. at Westminster Theological Seminary where she also developed a burden for children's ministry. One of the coolest compliments she's ever received is that she respects the intelligence of children. She looks forward to her lifelong commitment to continue respecting children and youth with the uncompromised gospel on their narrow journey home.
Ricky Chae – Children's Ministry Co-Director
Ricky was born and raised in Indiana, popularly known as "the Crossroads of America." After graduating with a degree in Chemistry from Wabash College and running a tech consulting business for a couple of years, he moved to Boston and later Korea where he married Sujeong. They live in Old Tappan with their two active sons (Noah and Caleb). Ricky is in technical sales by profession, but tries to spend time when he can, helping with homeschooling, taking photos when he is not riding his bike or doing Crossfit. He is grateful for God's massive blessings in His Son, this church, and the ability to co-labor in ministry.
Justin lee – Multiplying Network Associate
Justin is a Korean American who grew up in Queens and became a Christian in high school. After graduating college, he joined the church planting team of MGFL in September 2009. Since then he married his wife, Henny, whom he affectionately calls “my love.” He is a software engineer by trade. At night, he moonlights as a stunt double for Chow Yun-fat. He serves the church as a deacon and also co-leads the Ridgefield community group. His interests include rucking, hiking, and firearms. By God’s grace, he hopes to become a father one day.
