community groups & prayer meetings

Community Groups are small groups which gather in homes each week to experience and enjoy deeper biblical fellowship. This is where mutual encouragement and sanctification take place as CG members meet and discuss the week’s message, look into the bible for answers and insight, pray for one another, and share one another’s burdens. It’s the context where relationships are forged and strengthened as people grow in commitment, trust, accountability, and self-less Christian love.

Prayer Gatherings

There is much power in prayer—not because it allows us to tap into the power of some unknown, impersonal mystical force or realm but because our Father God loves us and desires to be in communion with us through this gift of prayer. The scriptures remind us again and again that He always hears us and answers us according to His wisdom & will. Fully confident of this, we desire to be a church that prays without ceasing for one another, the Maranatha Community, the greater Fort Lee area, and our mission. Prayer gatherings will happen in homes, cafes, bookstores, and other venues so please be on the lookout for such announcements.
