The mission of MGMercy is to fulfill our calling as a church body to provide for those who have physical and spiritual need, starting within the church and reaching beyond the church.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” (Gal. 6:9-10)

Over the years, we cannot but praise God for the work He has done in our lives and in the life of our local church body! He has blessed us with more than we need, and we desire to use these resources given us to show mercy and grace to others.

Expect Hope

Expect Hope, a Christ-centered residential program for unsupported, expectant women, provides a safe residence for mothers who desire to prepare a life for their new families. It is a privately funded, non­profit organization serving women in the Bronx, New York. Expect Hope provides essential social services through a holistic approach that addresses the material, emotional, and spiritual needs of each woman.

The program equips each mother with biblical counseling, training, and mentoring. The women receive loving guidance toward reconciliation with God, themselves, and others as they understand and apply the work of Jesus Christ in their lives. As she awaits the new life of her child, each woman can anticipate a future that will be different from the past.

 

Lighthouse Pregnancy
Resource Center

The Lighthouse Pregnancy Resource Center provides parenting support, counseling, and referrals for those facing unplanned pregnancies in the north Jersey area. Their vision is to support women, men and teens in pregnancy-related crisis toward life-affirming choices. We support the work and mission of this ministry both financially and with volunteers.

 

Homeless
Outreach

The homeless outreach (Mercy in the Streets) exists to make much of Jesus by serving the "least of these" (Matt. 25:34-46). The goal is to spread the gospel and to obey Jesus in helping the poor and marginalized.

 

Operation
Christmas Child

A ministry of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child is a seasonal international charity whose mission is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ together with the local church worldwide. We will be involved in packing age-and-gender-specific shoeboxes with materials, such as toys, school supplies, and hygiene items, which will be sent with a Gospel-teaching material to children around the world.
